November 2014 News: It was nice seeing you at the IEEE NSS/MIC meeting in Seattle! We are happy to announce that our LAMBDA system, wich is based on the MEDIPIX3 chip is now available.

January 2015 News:  Photon Science User Meeting 28- 30 Januar 2015 This year's XFEL/DESY Photon Science User's Meeting (28-30 Jan) is coming up and our experts from X-Spectrum will be there to talk with you about your detector needs. To schedule a one-on-one meeting during this time just drop us a line or visit us at our booth on friday 30th of January. Our booth is located inside the CFEL building next to the DESY TT office stand on the ground floor. Come and meet us!
March 2015 News: Upcoming Conferences 2015 with X-Spectrum participation: SRI 2015 This years International Conference on Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation (SRI 2015) will be held July 6-10, 2015, at Marriott Marquis in Times Square, New York City, USA. IWoRiD 2015 This years International Workshops on Radiation Imaging Detectors (iWoRiD) will be held June 28- July 2, 2015, at DESY, Hamburg, Germany. IEEE/NSS 2015 This years IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium (NSS) and Medical Imaging Conference (MIC) together with the Symposium on Room-Temperature Semiconductor X-Ray and Gamma-Ray Detectors (RTSD) will be held October 31 - November 7 at the Town & Country Hotel in San Diego, California, USA.
April 2015 News: X-Spectrum is growing! We are looking for someone with mechatronic experience. For more information and application requirements please have a look at the DESY website.
May 2015 News: The Hamburg Innovation Awards are coming up and  X-Spectrum made it to the finals. Only 5 contestants are left in the competetion for this prestigious German award. The winners will be announced on June 4th. We wish all contestants best of luck!
June 2015 News: We are proud to announce that X-Spectrum was presented with the 2015 Hamburg Innovation Award. Our unique combination of frame rate, pixel size and photon counting x-ray detection convinced the jury of the high and innovative qualities of our Lambda camera.The prize is awarded in the categories Idea, Start and Growth. X- Spectrum won the category start, where companies compete that are no older than 5 years (we will have our first anniversary in July), and whose product is already on the market. The award ceremony was on the 4th of June at the Hamburg Innovation Summit.
October 2015 News: Coming up: IEEE NSS/MIC 2015 Visit us at the IEEE NSS/MIC meeting in San Diego from 1.-7. November 2015. You’ll find us at booth 305, right next to our partners from X-ray Imaging Europe. Our scientists will introduce you to new detector developments and answer all your questions. December 2015 News: 2 Megapixel Cameras Available! X-Spectrum is happy to announce that 2 Megapixel camera systems have expanded our product range. 2 Megapixel cameras offer three times the area compared to single module cameras, while maintaining all other specifications, especially the high rate of 2000 frames per second. 2M cameras are available with all sensor types, i.e. Silicon, GaAs and CdTe.

March 2016 News LAMBDA now available in China We are proud to announce our partnership with Top-Unistar in Beijing. Top- Unistar will distribute and support all of our products in China and thereby improve our reaction time in Asia. Top-Unistar provides upscale instruments and solutions in the field of X-ray and material analysis, making switching to our latest generation of x-ray detectors even more attractive.
September 2016 News Inspired by our customers, we are currently rolling out our new LAMBDA 60K units. These units use a single Medipix3 chip with 256x256 pixels and provide you the best value for your money without compromising on important features like 2000 fps speed and 55 micron resolution. A full range of Silicon, GaAs and CdTe sensors without any gaps or dead area is available, covering the energy range from 5 keV to 100 keV. It comes with high speed imaging capability and 55 micron resolution.
